TERRABYTE 2.0

About ECOSCAB: Research suggests that bamboo functions as an ecological healing scab for traumatized areas of the earth. Cleared teak forests in Thailand and defoliated bomb-sites in Vietnam, as well as the sites of hurricanes and earthquakes, have been quickly revitalized by the fast acting canopy of regenerative life provided by bamboo. THE ECOSCAB PAVILLION uses the metaphor of bamboo's regenerative umbrella to realize a performative canopy for art, science, and cultural ecology.
