Using Gerrit Rietveld’s original plans, intended for public consumption, these three reproductions were realized: 1923 Military Table, 1923 - 1929 Asymmetrical Bench, 1923 Berlin Chair.

1923 Military Table was originally designed for The Catholic Military Home in Utrecht but was frequently reproduced for private customers. Here it is seen reproduced in alder wood and cherry plywood, slightly modified to be used as a desk. 1923 - 1929 Asymmetrical Bench, originally made for the Fraenkel family, here it is reproduced in marine plywood with marine epoxy and painted to original specifications. 1923 Berlin Chair is considered significant because it was the first piece where Rietveld introduced asymmetry and planar constructions into his designs.
