Part of the group show “AfterShock” at The Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, this installation featured eleven inflatable octopi connected with mini hand-cuffs on blue Astroturf, around a medium pepperoni pizza cut into eight slices. One octopus (pictured) came with a leg turned in the wrong direction and thus was held up by the surrounding inflatables. The pizza became infested with roaches during the show. The installation traveled to DiverseWorks in Houston as part of a Three_Day_Weekend Event and there the pizza was eaten by a dog.
